ACT Open 2022

We invite beach volleyballers from far and wide to compete in the 2022 ACT Open! Our 2021/22 beach series events have been a hit and the ACT Open is the high point of the 9 event series and we are looking forward to another excellent event at the Lyneham Beach Facility. 

Join us for a huge weekend of fun in the sun in Canberra at our premier national beach volleyball event on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March 2022!

The 2022 ACT Open will feature two divisions per gender. Division 1 and Division 2 for Men and Women.  Divisions will be capped at 16 teams each and teams will be assigned to the respective divisions based upon their ABVRS points accumulated from their best 5 placings over the last year. 

If necessary qualifying matches will be held on Friday the 11th of March.

Entry Cost

$160 per pair

Format

Men's - Division 1 and 2 

Women's - Division 1 and 2

Pool play followed by top and bottom bracket playoffs such that all teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 matches across the 2 days.

Playing Tops

Playing tops WILL be provided by tournament organisers for Division 1 ONLY. Division 2 teams are responsible for organising their own matching playing tops for their pair!
