History
Since 2002, Canberra Heat has proudly represented the ACT at the national level of volleyball. Over the years, the team has competed in a variety of formats including home-and-away series, tournament play, and grand prix-style competitions.
As we move into the second edition of the Australian Volleyball Super League, we celebrate more than two decades of history, passion, and achievement.
Club Overview
- Canberra Heat Volleyball Club is the longest-serving club in the Australian Volleyball League.
- We field both Men’s and Women’s teams each season.
- Players are selected from Volleyball ACT affiliated clubs, school competitions, and junior representative programs, ensuring a strong pathway from grassroots to elite.

International Participation
Canberra Heat Men have also showcased their skills on the international stage, representing Australia at the Asian Club Championships:
- 2023 – 12th Place (Bahrain)
- 2018 – 9th Place (Myanmar)
- 2017 – 10th Place (Vietnam)
