Capital Volleyball League (CVL)

The Capital Volleyball League (CVL) is the premier indoor volleyball competition in the ACT. It showcases top players from across the region in two divisions, Premier and Reserve, for both men's and women's teams. The competition is contested by affiliated clubs and held every Sunday at Lyneham Hockey Centre.

Season Overview

• Season Dates: Round 1, May 3 - Grand Finals Septamber 13

• Match Format: Best-of-five sets, untimed

• Venue: Lyneham Hockey Centre

• Divisions: Premier and Reserve (Men’s and Women’s)

Match Schedule

Weekly Sunday match times are:

• Match 1 – 9:00 am

• Match 2 – 10:45 am

• Match 3 – 12:30 pm

• Match 4 – 2:15 pm

• Match 5 – 4:00 pm

• Match 6 - 5:45 pm

Player Registration & Fees

All players must be registered with Volleyball ACT prior to their first game.

• Adult Registration: $99

• Under 18 Registration: $66
  

Duty Requirements

Each team is rostered for duty during the season and must provide:

• 1 x Second Referee

• 1 x Score Sheet Operator

• 1 x Scoreboard Operator

• 2 x Line Judges

If no official referee is present, the team must also supply a first referee.

How to Join

To play in CVL, join a Volleyball ACT affiliated club. Clubs nominate teams and manage registration.
