Thursday Autumn Recreational League

Event Information

Volleyball ACT's Recreational Indoor competitions are for all players looking to participate in a fun, friendly and social competition. These mixed gender competitions are designed to meet your exercise and team competition needs at a fun and recreational level. The on-site bar and restaurant at Pick Up Stix is perfect for post-match pizza or beers.

Competition Dates

Commencing Thursday 11th April 2024 and finishing on Thursday 27th June 2024.

Mixed Division 1, 2 & 3, 12-week season.

All games will be played at the Lyneham Hockey Centre 

Competition Fees

Open League team fees are based on a $81 per team per week ratio, the team season fee will be as follows:

Mixed Divisions 1 & 2 - 12 Weeks @ $81 per week = $980 per team

Player Registration

All players must be registered with VACT before their first match. Registration is on an individual basis and is separate to the team's competition fees. Any team found to have played an unregistered player will forfeit the match.

Match Times

Match are typically played at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 or 8:30pm. All matches play for 60 minutes which includes a 10-minute warm-up period that will commence at the scheduled match time indicated on the draw. All round matches will be played best of five sets, to a time limit of 50 minutes regardless of the set or point score. 

Finals Qualification

To qualify for finals a player must have participated in at least 33% of matches for that team during the regular season.
