REGISTER NOW - 2026 ACT OPEN Women’s Pairs Beach Volleyball Tournament!

We are excited to invite beach volleyballers from near and far to compete in the 2026 ACT Open! Following the success of our 2025/26 Beach Series events, the ACT Open stands as the pinnacle of the series, and we are looking forward to another fantastic weekend at the Lyneham Beach Sports Facility.

Join us for a huge weekend of fun in the sun in Canberra at our premier national beach volleyball event:

📅 When: Saturday, 31st January – Sunday, 1st February 2026
Event is intended to finish by 5:00 PM on Sunday

📍 Where: VACT Lyneham Beach Sports Facility, off Thurbon Road, Lyneham

💰 Entry Cost: $200 per pair

Divisions

• Women’s Divisions: Division 1 & 2

Divisions for the ACT Open will be determined based on each player’s ABVRS points, calculated from their best 5 results over the past year. 

• Division 1:
• Capped at 16 teams (top 12 ranked teams + up to 4 wildcards)
• If wildcards are not awarded, the next highest-ranked teams will be promoted
• Division 2:
• All remaining entries will be placed here

Please note: Due to court limitations, the maximum total number of entries is 40 teams. Entries may close earlier than the advertised date if this limit is reached.

Once we reach the maximum number of entries, we will start a waitlist for pairs wishing to enter the tournament. Pairs will only be admitted if a spot becomes available.  

Team Caps:

• Division 1 (Women’s) – 16 teams
• Division 2 (Women’s) – 24 teams

Guarantee: All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches at the ACT Open 2026.

Playing Tops

Playing tops will be provided by the tournament organisers for all divisions.
