Volleyball ACT Strategic Plan 2026-2030

Paving the Path to Sustainable Growth

Volleyball ACT’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan sets a clear agenda for short-term impact and long-term growth. It is built on a dual-horizon outlook to deliver immediate stabilisation and system improvements over the next two years, while pursuing aspirational goals to transform the sport across the ACT by 2030.

As volleyball continues to grow in popularity across the ACT and Australia, emerging disciplines such as fistball, sitting volleyball, and grass volleyball are broadening the sport's appeal and accessibility. This evolving landscape presents opportunities that demand strategic leadership. Volleyball ACT recognises the importance of a proactive strategy to support this growth and ensure our systems, pathways, and facilities remain fit for purpose.

The Two-Year Plan (2026–2027) focuses on strengthening our organisational foundations, expanding access to participation, building athlete and volunteer pathways, and increasing community engagement. The Five-Year Stretch Goals (2026–2030) are designed to elevate volleyball’s visibility and impact across the Territory through ambitious targets, strong partnerships, and bold infrastructure investment.

Our strategy is structured around four strategic pillars: Profile, Performance, Participation, and Governance. These pillars shape how we engage with our community, deliver programs, and support long-term development. They are interdependent and collectively ensure our growth is inclusive, well-managed, and performance-focused.

Vision

Grow and support volleyball in the ACT by providing accessible opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to play, learn, compete, and belong.
