EXPRESSION OF INTEREST — PLAY VOLLEY COACHES (CANBERRA)
Volleyball ACT is seeking expressions of interest from coaches to join the delivery team for Play Volley — Volleyball Australia's new grassroots participation program for children aged 5–12.
Play Volley introduces volleyball through fun, engaging, movement-based activities designed to build confidence, physical literacy and a lifelong love of sport. Unlike traditional volleyball coaching, it focuses on fundamental movement skills, game-based learning, positive and inclusive coaching, and participation over performance.

Please note that this is role is a Paid Position and not a Volunteering Position.
We're looking for coaches who:

Enjoy working with children

Bring energy and enthusiasm

Can create engaging and inclusive environments

Are confident leading groups
-
Are open to learning a new coaching approach
Desirable experience:
-
Junior sport coaching
-
School-based delivery
-
Volleyball coaching
-
Physical education or teaching
-
Holiday program delivery
Requirements:

Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain)

Availability to deliver sessions in Canberra, once a week
- Must hold a Valid VA Level 1 Coaching Accreditation or higher

Willingness to attend Play Volley coach induction/training
